Rosalind Louise ChapmanOctober 26, 1937 ~ May 25, 2017 (age 79)
Rosalind (Tincy) L. Chapman, 79 of Baytown, TX went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born in Whitney, TX and was a lifelong resident of Baytown, TX. Rosalind was an avid gardener, loved trees, flowers and being in her garden. She knew more about working on vehicles than anyone, and was great at rebuilding them. She was notorious for carrying tools in her purse. She loved to give advice and was very direct. Rosalind loved her library and all the books and most of all the Sci-Fi books. She was the rock and anchor of the family and was loved by all.
Rosalind was preceded in death by her parents, Richard L. Wooten and wife Armede Gordon; sister, Barbara Scott; grandson, Taylor Henson and great grandson, Terryn Farr.
Rosalind is survived by two sons, Michael Henson and wife Dee, and Terry Henson; daughter, Toni Flynn and husband Tim; grandchildren, Terry Farr and wife Jessica, Melissa Farr and husband Dustin, Derrick Henson, Steven Henson and wife Tabitha, Daniel Flynn, Josiah Henson, Hannah Henson, and Tre’ Henson; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Peggy Grizzle; brothers, Ronald Wooten “Buddy”, and Michael Wooten “Big Mike” and wife Debbie.
The family will have a private memorial service on a later date to honor Tincy.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arbor Foundation or a charity of your choice in Rosalind’s name.
