Brent was born in Galesburg, Illinois, graduated from Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, attended Vernon Regional Junior College while working for Sullivan Funeral Home and Wilbarger Memorial Park Cemetery in Vernon, Texas, and graduated from Dallas Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas.
Following college he has been employed by Sterling White Chapel Funeral Homes in Highlands and Baytown, was the assistant manager of Sterling Funeral Homes in Dayton and Anahuac, assisted with Allison Funeral Service in Liberty, manger of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, and caretaker for Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, prior to becoming the managing partner of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services in Baytown.
He has been a member of many organizations including the First United Methodist Church of Dayton, Dayton Volunteer Fire Department, Instructor for Livingston Fire School, Dayton Masonic Lodge #824, HLSR Metro Go Texan Liberty County Committee, Dayton Noon Lions Club, Dayton Chamber of Commerce, and Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
Brent has two children Ally and Trace, who attend Barbers Hill School District. He also enjoys cooking, hunting, working cattle, wood working, and gardening.
Breanna started working for Crespo & Jirrels in mid-January 2016 as a funeral director and embalmer. She is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services Class of 2015, where she acquired an Associate of Applied Science in Mortuary Science. Breanna graduated with honors and was the National Honor Society President at Commonwealth Institute. She is also a recipient of the R. L. Waltrip Chairman’s Award.
Breanna and her husband, Zachary, reside in Hardin with their children, Johnathan and Julia. Breanna is a proud member if the Commonwealth Alumni board, Texas Funeral Directors Association, and a long-time participant of Rivers, Lakes, Bays n’ Bayous Trash Bash, as well as Wreaths Across America Houston.

Charles Swick has been a funeral assistant with Crespo & Jirrels since March 2016. A native of Baytown, Charles graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and Lee College, where he received with an Associate's degree in Business Management. He had a long career in the information technology industry. In 2000 Charles graduated from Christian Life School of Theology with a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Theology. Although retired, he is an ordained non-denominational minister and answers the call on his life by touching God’s people at the hour of their deepest need. Charles and his wife Janice have two daughters and four grandchildren.
David Pryor has been a funeral assistant with Crespo & Jirrels since 2005. A native of Goose Creek, David graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and studied business at Lee College. He had a long career in the garment industry and graduated from the National Institute of Dry Cleaners. From 1984 to 1987, he and Dorey, his wife of 27 years, owned Dorey’s Wedding Chapel and Florist. Although retired, he is a licensed non-denominational minister and often officiates at weddings and funerals. David and Dorey have ten children between them, plus 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Theresa started working for Crespo & Jirrels in January 2015. She works on the weekends at Kroger on Garth Road in Baytown, where she has been working since 2012. Theresa graduated from Marian High School. She got married at the age of 19 and was married for 55 years. Theresa has three children. The light of her life is her ten grandchildren and her two wonderful great-granddaughters.
