Brent was born in Galesburg,
Illinois, graduated from Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, attended
Vernon Regional Junior College while working for Sullivan Funeral Home and
Wilbarger Memorial Park Cemetery in Vernon, Texas, and graduated from Dallas
Institute of Funeral Service in Dallas, Texas.
Following college he has been
employed by Sterling White Chapel Funeral Homes in Highlands and Baytown, was
the assistant manager of Sterling Funeral Homes in Dayton and Anahuac, assisted
with Allison Funeral Service in Liberty, manger of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in
Dayton, and caretaker for Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, prior to becoming
the managing partner of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services in
He has been a member of many
organizations including the First United Methodist Church of Dayton, Dayton
Volunteer Fire Department, Instructor for Livingston Fire School, Dayton
Masonic Lodge #824, HLSR Metro Go Texan Liberty County Committee, Dayton Noon
Lions Club, Dayton Chamber of Commerce, and Liberty-Dayton Chamber of Commerce.
Brent has two children Ally and
Trace, who attend Barbers Hill School District. He also enjoys cooking,
hunting, working cattle, wood working, and gardening.
started working for Crespo & Jirrels in mid-January 2016 as a funeral
director and embalmer. She is a graduate of Commonwealth Institute of Funeral
Services Class of 2015, where she acquired an Associate of Applied Science in
Mortuary Science. Breanna graduated with honors and was the National Honor
Society President at Commonwealth Institute. She is also a recipient of the R.
L. Waltrip Chairman’s Award.
Breanna and her husband, Zachary, reside in Hardin
with their children, Johnathan and Julia. Breanna is a proud member if the
Commonwealth Alumni board, Texas Funeral Directors Association, and a long-time
participant of Rivers, Lakes, Bays n’ Bayous Trash Bash, as well as Wreaths
Across America Houston.
