Mark A. Ybarra, 47, of Mont Belvieu, TX passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017.

Mark was a loving husband and devoted father.  He was fun loving and had an infectious smile, but he was also a dedicated, hardworking man who had a quiet way about him.  Mark enjoyed watching his son play soccer and baseball, and he enjoyed watching professional sports, and driving fast cars as well.

He loved history, and he enjoyed traveling; he traveled and worked overseas in his youth.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Kelly and her husband, Albert Kelly; and his father, Ernest Ybarra.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Woods-Ybarra; a son, Charles Parker Ybarra; a brother, Carlos Ybarra and wife, Liza; a sister, Christine Ybarra; uncles, Rudy Venegas and wife Susan, and Henry Venegas; an aunt, Loli Venegas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a host of friends.  Mark was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive Friends on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the Chapel at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:00am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 800 W. Baker Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

Serving the family as Pallbearers will be Eric Venegas, Carlos Ybarra, Joseph Ybarra, Phil Lopez, Charles Parker Ybarra, and Jared Ferguson.
