Herminia M. Rodriguez, 91, of Baytown, went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 13, 2017, with her four loving daughters at her side.  She was born on June 23, 1925, in Pasadena, Texas, to Francisco Montoya and Guadalupe Canales.  Mrs. Rodriquez was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, where she was a member of the Guadalupana Altar Society.  She was also a member of Sagrado Corazon.

Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Jesus Rodriguez; brothers, Eugenio Montoya, Manuel Montoya, Francisco Montoya, and Federico Montoya; sisters, Olga Cardenas, Guadalupe Montoya, Maria de Refugio Garza, Alicia Montoya and Ana Maria Carpio.  She is survived by her daughters, Evangelina and husband, Juan Aguilar, Pearl Rodriguez, Maria Teresa and husband, Jose L. De Los Reyes, Mary Susie R. Nino; only living sister, Esperanza M. Gonzales; twenty-four grandchildren; thirty-one great grandchildren ; and three great-great grandchildren.

The family will received friends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Reverend Jesus Lizalde as celebrant.  Burial will follow at Sterling White Cemetery in Highlands.  Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Juan A. Aguilar, Jaime Aguilar, Jose L. De Los Reyes, Jr., Juan J. De Los Reyes, Valentin De Los Reyes, Jr., and Pedro Torres, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers will be Blake A. Aguilar, Christian V. Aguilar, Christian J. Aguilar, Jesus Hernandez, Eric Rios, Manuel De Los Reyes, Lino De Los Reyes, Eugenio De Los Reyes, Valentin De Los Reyes III, Mateo De Los Reyes, Juan Hernandez, Gavin Cortez and Nathaniel James Jolliff.
