Arlon Dale Walker

Arlon D. Walker, 60, of Baytown, TX passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017.

Arlon was born to D.F. and Gladys Walker on April 4, 1956 in Ft. Worth, TX.  His family moved to Waco, TX when he was young. While there in high school, Arlon learned the craft of Cabinet making; he would work in cabinet shops in Waco and Abilene.

In 1975 he moved to Channelview, TX and went to work for Brown & Root; that would start his career with Jacobs as an industrial supervisor.  For the past 10 years Arlon owned and operated Walker Custom Creations; hot rods were his passion.  He was a proud member of the NRA, and an avid fisherman.  He loved hot rods, his dogs, and having a great time with friends and loved ones.  He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, D.F. and Gladys Walker of Huntsville, TX.

Arlon is survived by his daughters, Amanda and Angie Walker; a son, Kevin D. Walker and wife, Natalie; a Godson, Josh Shepherd and wife, Courtney; a Goddaughter, Ashley Newman; grandchildren, Brittanie Jacobs, Joshua Hicks, Racheal McCullough, and Tabatha McCullough; great grandchildren, Jasmine Jacobs, Ben Jacobs, Jr., and Elizabeth Hicks; a brother, Gaylon Walker and wife Rebecca; a sister, Linda Metzler; seven nephews, three nieces, and an abundance of dear close friends.
