Zachary “Zach” Daniel Herrera, 29, of Baytown, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022.
Zach was born December 2, 1992 in Baytown to parents; Juan and Kim Santana Herrera, and has been a lifelong resident of the Baytown area. He was a graduate of Goose Creek Memorial High School, worked as a pipefitter, and of the catholic faith. Zach also enjoyed riding skateboards with his many lifelong friends, cousins, and brother. He was blessed with the gift of being able to sing and play on his guitar to everyone around him. Mostly, he was an incredibly devoted father and loved spending his time with his children outdoors swimming, camping, and fishing. Everyone that knew him would all agree that he exuded nothing but happiness and positivity everywhere he went with the most infectious smile.
Mr. Herrera was preceded in death by his grandparents: Johnny and Jeanne Santana and Eladio Herrera. He is survived by his parents: Juan and Kim Santana Herrera, children: Daniel and Mary Herrera, companion: Ashley Green, siblings: Joseph Franco and wife Erica, Kristen Tellez and husband Francisco, and Ariel Herrera, grandmother: Ninfa Herrera, nieces and nephews: Joseph “JoJo” Franco, Jr., Jay Franco, Jace Franco, and James Franco, Aiden Faz, Braiden Faz, and Olivia Tellez, numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 6 p.m. Thursday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2022, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown, with services concluding thereafter.
