William G Jones

William George Jones, 79, known as “Wild Bill” to many friends, passed away peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father, Saturday, June 27, 2020.

Bill was born September 9, 1940, in Anahuac, to Katherine Valentine Jones, and was a lifelong resident of Baytown.  He was a veteran of the US Army and a retired construction worker.  Following his military service, Bill married Patricia Ann Hilton Jones on December 23, 1965.  He also had a CB handle in the 70’s known as the “Voice”, as he would have said, “This is KCY9979”, the voice somewhere in old Baytown signing off.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his wife:  Patricia Ann Hilton Jones, mother:  Katherine Valentine Jones, grandparents:  Frank and Ruth Jones, sister:  Thelma Jean Marceaux, and brother:  Donald Wayne Theilen.  He is survived by his children:  Terry Vetuski, Kimberly Williamson and husband Jesse, Becky Barnett and husband Dan, and Rhonda Jones, sister:  Sandra Helander, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will have memorial services will be held at a later date.
