William "Will" Cuthbert Budd Jr.

William “Will” Cuthbert Budd Jr., CPA, passed away Sunday July 15, 2018. He was born to parents William C. Budd Sr. and Shirley Budd, in Pasadena, Texas, on October 1, 1947.

Will was a devout catholic, hard worker, and loving father. He became a certified public accountant in 1978 and continued to work until his health didn’t allow him to recently. It gave him great satisfaction when he completed a complicated tax return and saved people money.  He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with others and socializing. He was graduate of the class of 1965 from Robert E. Lee High School, and still was active in the class reunions and functions. Will loved eating good food and watching any sports but especially the Cowboys and Astros. He was an avid reader and a true believer you were never too old to learn. Will’s big heart will be missed.

Will was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Spike Budd and wife, Becky; Daughter, Susan Budd-Pequeno and husband, David “Bubba”; grandchildren, Ryan Budd, Kendall Budd, Jacob Budd, Cole Williams, John Walls, Lauren Pequeno, and Liam Pequeno; as well as numerous other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Friday, July 20, 2018, at Crespo and Jirrels funeral home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston, Texas.
