William "Bill" Astley

William “Bill Astley, 74, of Baytown, Texas, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021.  Bill was born June 29, 1946 in Bolton, England, to parents; Willie and Nellie Clemmett Astley.

Bill and his family moved to the United States in 1977 where he began working in the oil fields for Exxon.  After his time at Exxon, he moved into the medical field where he worked as a Hospital Administrator for many years before retiring.  He loved playing golf and very much loved his fur babies.

Mr. Astley was preceded in death by his parents and both sisters.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pat Astley and daughter, Lynsey Astley and husband Adam Brett.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown.
