Virginia "Skinny" Lazo

Virginia “Skinny” Lazo, 30, of Baytown, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, in Pasadena.

Virginia was born June 27, 1991 in Houston to parents; Valentin Lazo and Carolyn Juarez and has been a lifelong resident of the Baytown area.  She received her associate degree from Lee College, was a certified medical assistant, and attended Faith Family Church.  Virginia also enjoyed writing, shopping, and especially spending time with her children.

Miss Lazo was preceded in death by her father:  Valentin Lazo, uncle: Johnny Arismendez, aunts: Maria Esquivel, Rosa Arismendez She is survived by her mother:  Carolyn Juarez, step-father: Jose Juarez, son:  Ruben David Ortiz, daughter:  Aryana Ymari Ortiz, husband:  Khristian Ortiz, brothers: Valentin Jose Lazo, Robert Lazo and Manuel Arismendez. sisters:  Soledad Lazo, Maribel Lazo-Cruz, Karina Garcia, and Priscilla Dimayuga, sister-in-law: Vianey Villarreal, brother-in-law: Jorge Cruz, Joel Dimayuga and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends and family from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, June 8-9, 2022, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 10, 2022, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown. She will be truly loved and missed.
