Syble “Marie” Campbell Wilson, 73, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017, at her residence.
Marie was born June 19, 1944 in Beulah Mississippi, to parents; Robert Angrus and Janie Elease Nimmons Campbell, and was a former resident of Galveston. She was a retired RN from Shell Petro-Chemical, catholic by faith, and volunteered her time to help others. She also enjoyed quilting, gardening, shopping, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband: Leo C. Wilson, son: Joe Dale Miller, sisters: Carroll Bayliss, Patricia Reeves, and her father: Robert Angrus Campbell. She is survived by her sons: Michael Miller and wife Andrea, Vincent Wilson, and Robert Wilson, daughters: Sheryl Paden and husband Tim, Rene Wilson, Marie McVeigh and husband Kevin, Natalie Wilson Johnson, and Kimberly Wilson Lott, mother: Janie Elease Nimmons Campbell, sisters: Joyce Lednum, Louise Ziriax, and Betsy Campbell, brother: Robert Campbell, grandchildren: Manny, Michael and wife Carrie, John, Mike and wife Patricia, Ray and wife Erin, Melanie and husband Kenny, Krystal, Kyle, Mariah, Samantha and husband Josh, Rob, Lauren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2017, at the Wooster Baptist Church in Baytown with interment following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Galveston.
