Sharon Ann Griggs

Sharon Ann Pesek Griggs, 73, of Highlands, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at her residence.

Sharon was born September, 5, 1947 in Yoakum, to parents; Benedict E. and Erma E. Huber Pesek, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Highlands for the past 30 years.  She was a graduate of Yoakum High school, attended business school, and was employed by Baylor as an office administrator before retiring.  Sharon was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, and most of all her grandchildren.

Mrs. Griggs was preceded in death by her parents and husband:  Ted Vandyke Griggs.  She is survived by her daughters:  Michelle Lammey and husband Alan and Kelly Griggs, brothers:  John and Kenneth Pesek, grandchildren:  Jazzmin Bullard and fiancé Jared Flannel, Jordan Bullard, Jonathan Lammey and wife Elsa Lammey, Nicholas Lammey, Natalie Lammey, Justin Griggs, Kiley Griggs, Julian Lammey, great-grandchild:  Jared Flannel, Jr., numerous other relatives, and friends.
