Schane J. Niemann, 49, of Baytown passed away Monday, September 20, 2021, in Baytown.
Schane was born January 27, 1972, in Houston, TX, and has been a lifelong resident of the Baytown area. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and former employee of CSC Railroad Services and welder for Goodman prior to becoming a licensed owner and operator of Eagles Nest Barber Shop. Schane also enjoyed bull riding, hunting, fishing, playing pool, and starting the Texas Hog Dogger guides.
Those who knew Schane, especially those who visited Eagles Nest Barber Shop, would agree that he made them feel as if they were part of the family. With his caring ways, he built relationships with his customers, preparing them for first haircuts as well as special events, such as proms, graduations, job interviews, weddings and even funerals. He listened as they shared their problems, knowing that he not only cared about making them look good, but also about making them feel good about life. Schane’s love for his friends and family was returned as evidenced by his recent barbeque benefit for which hundreds of people donated time and money. Schane had friends from all walks of life, and he believed in giving people the benefit of the doubt and a second chance. Although he will be missed on Earth, he will no longer be suffering, and he will be able to watch over everyone he loved.
Schane was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence “Papaw” Niemann, Anita Niemann Bobbie Reynolds-Capps, Herbie Capps, Joe Gonzales and Edssie Howell. He is survived by his wife Ashley Newman; daughters Willow and Stephanie Niemann; son Schane Cade Niemann; mother Luanna Niemann Capps and husband Randy Capps; brothers Mike Niemann and Jason Capps; in-laws Richard and Carrie Pryor-Newman and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
