Saturnino Vega

Saturnino “Satu” Vega, 71 , of Baytown, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at his residence.

Satu was born November 14, 1949 in  Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to parents; Elio and Ofelia Vega, a former resident of Kansas, and has resided in Baytown for the past 45 years.  He studied Theology, was a pastor, and attended El Taller del Maestro.  Satu also enjoyed model cars and watching futbol.

Mr. Vega was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife:  Maria Beltran Vega, children:  Nehemias, Josue, Daniel, Juan, and Erik, brothers:  Jeremias, Eliseo, Daniel, Rogelio, Alfredo, Jaime, Ramiro, Juan, Homero, sisters:  Irma, Herminia, Armandina, grandchildren:  Lexus, Tiffany, Sarah, Amariah, Tobias, Daniel Jr, Sofia, Uzziel, Juan Francisco, Samantha, Victoria, Jonathan, Elizabeth, Yesenia, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church at 3700 North, TX-146, Baytown, TX 77520.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
