Ruth Bishop Boozer

Ruth “Memaw” Bishop Boozer, 73, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in Baytown.

Ruth was born July 5, 1949 in Dallas, to parents; John Louis Bishop and Melba Lucille Moore, and had resided in Baytown for over 40 years.  She was a graduate of Sam Rayburn High School, attended Lee College, and was a former environmental safety technician for Exxon.  Ruth also attended Second Baptist Church and volunteered in her community with hurricane relief.  She also enjoyed cooking, decorating, and starting projects.

Mrs. Boozer was preceded in death by her parents, brother:  Greg Bishop, and her fur baby:  Rusty.  She is survived by her husband of 37 years:  Marvin Boozer, children:  Steve Pike and wife Carla, Erica Pike Basralian, Lisa Pike Wagner and husband Rickey, and Lee Suzanne Boozer Chevalier, sister:  Karen Bishop, brother:  Johnny Bishop, grandchildren:  Jennifer Orton, Hillary Pike, Alexandria Pike, Ashleigh Pike, Eriana Pike, Joshua Garza, Adanica Garza, Zoe Chevalier, Savannah Fink, Sarah Linder, and Danielle Auer, 13 great-grandchildren, her extended children:  Scott Pike, Tina Hemphill, Dana French, and Mindy Kratsas, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel, in Baytown.
