Roslyn Margaret Hanle Simon, 73, of Houston, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2017, at her residence.

Roslyn was born November 29, 1943 in Houston, to parents; Richard Mahlon Hanle, Sr. and Beulah Germaine Guidry Hanle, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Houston for the past 50 years.  She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High school class of 1961, and had attended Lee College and the University of Houston.  She also attended St. Joseph Catholic Church and participated in the Silver Sneakers Group.  Roslyn enjoyed her time at home, especially taking care of her cats.

Mrs. Simon was preceded in death by her parents, brother:  Richard Mahlon Hanle, Jr., and sister:  Wanda Lynn Hanle Burch.  She is survived by her brothers:  Royce Hanle and Randy Hanle and wife Teresa, brother-in-law:  Mike Burch, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Baytown with services concluding thereafter.
