I was Roslyn's exercise instructor at the Alief Y, where she came faithfully at least twice a week, to be in the Silver Sneakers & Yoga classes. She was always smiling and friendly, helpful and compassionate, amidst aches and pains that she was experiencing. She was the life of the class, making jokes, talking to everyone, and singing along with the music. She helped a lot of people in their time of need, and was such a joy to be around. I will miss her sorely, and the classes will never be the same without her! We all loved her so much! My prayers go out to those who are grieving her loss.

Dear Roslyn, our friendship was brief but very valuable. I will always remember you and cherish our sessions of the Silver Sneakers' classes. I called you "Boss" because of your gracious guidance and your friendly welcome. It will not be the same without you, but I rejoice and thank life for having the opportunity of such an honest and exceptional human being..

My sister, Linda Jacob Armstrong and Roslyn went to school together from the beginning at St. Joseph's School to REL High School. Mrs. Hanle was like family to us and a dear friend of my mother, Lena Jacob. My husband, Jesse, and I had the honor of playing the music for her funeral mass. For years before that every time she saw us she told us that she wanted us to play at her funeral and by the grace of God we were able to do so. It is such a great honor for me to be able to do the same for Roslyn. May the Lord keep your family close by His side through this difficult time and lead Roslyn to her heavenly home with her parents and departed family members. God bless all of you!
