Rosario "Ross" Orsino

Rosario “Ross” Orsino, 64, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020, in Baytown.

Ross was born December 23, 1955 in Vittoria, Sicily, Italy, to parents; Crocifisso Orsino and Concetta Anfibio, a former resident of New Jersey, and has been a resident of Baytown since 1978.  He was a former owner and operator of Italian restaurants in Baytown and the Houston area.  He also enjoyed soccer, cooking, and gardening.

Mr. Orsino was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife:  Gabriela Macias Orsino, children:  Rosario “Ross” Orsino Jr., Cristina Martinez and husband Luis, Nicole Garcia and husband Mike, Cruz Orsino, Gabrielle Orsino, Ana Viera and husband Ernesto, Laura Moreno and husband Eleazar, and Rebeca Herrera and husband Erick, brother:  Salvatore Orsino and wife Antonietta, sister:  Graziella Di Bartolo and husband Mauro, 13 grandchildren with one on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 6, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown.
