Ronya Kay Coots

Ronya Kay Coots, 63, of Highlands, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, in Pasadena.

Ronya was born August 8, 1959 in Pasadena, to parents; Ross and Shirley Passafuma, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Highlands for the past 39 years. She was a graduate of Furr High School, a homemaker, and caretaker for many. Ronya also enjoyed her dogs, birds and especially spending time creating fairy gardens with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Coots was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 38 years: Barry Coots, son: Trent Coots and wife Natalie, daughter: Stephanie De La Cruz, sister: Talina Passafuma, grandchildren: Tristen and Grace Coots, her fur babies: Cookie, Mocha, and Diddy, her feather babies: Baby and Bandit, numerous other relatives, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2022, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter
