Rodolfo Hernandez, Sr., 56, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017, in Cedar Park.

Rodolfo was born August 14, 1961 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to parents; Rodolfo and Magdalena Briones Hernandez, and has resided in Baytown since 1985.  He graduated high school in Mexico, was a pipe fitter by trade, attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, and enjoyed farming.

Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his parents and wife:  Maria Isabel Hernandez.  He is survived by his son:  Rodolfo Hernandez, Jr., grandson:  Leonardo Vincent Hernandez, brothers:  Carlos Hernandez and wife Maria, Adolfo Hernandez and wife Brenda, and Arnulfo Hernandez and wife Nicolasa, sisters:  Yolanda Garcia and husband Gilberto, Estela Guajardo and husband Nicolas, Magdalena Sauceda and husband Enrique, Susana Hernandez, Marina Hernandez, Maria DeLourdes Cardenas and husband Rafael, and Hilda Medina and husband Jesus, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 2, 2017, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
