Richard Lee Douvio

Richard Lee Douvio, 77, of Huffman, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020.

Richard was born October 10, 1942 in Lake Charles, to parents; Horatio and Melena Marie Higginbotham Douvio.  He was a graduate of Barb High School in Lake Charles, a superintendent for Brock enterprises, and former member of the Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge.  Richard also enjoyed drag races, street rods, and building hotrods.

Mr. Douvio was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife:  Linda Douvio, daughters:  Tammy Douvio, Tina Douvio, Darlene Kramer, and Denise Gillespie, sons:  Greg Douvio, Troy Douvio and Rodney Gillespie, grandchildren:  Linda and Paul McCullough, Adam and Aaron Gillespie, Jaymie Cicala, Marie Cicala, Johnny Cicala, Raymond Mooty, Richard Dunklin, Jade Douvio, Denny Douvio, Adam Snider, and Colby Douvio, great-grandchildren:  Karis and Kimber McCullough, Brynlee and Austynn Gillespie, Brayden and Carson Gillespie, Jayde Taylor, Haylee Chennault, Tyler Jones, Tiffany Wells, Isaiah Garza, and Kylie Alvarez, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will welcome friends for a visitation at 1 pm followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.
