Rafael Lopez

Rafael Lopez, 71, of Baytown, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020, in Webster.

Rafael was born October 24, 1948 in Valle Hermoso, Mexico, to parents; Adrian and Consuelo Aispuro Lopez, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Baytown for the past 25 years.  He was a retired mechanic and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  Rafael also enjoyed working with his tractor, farming, and fishing.

Mr. Lopez was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife:  Maria De la  Luz Gonzalez Lopez, daughter:  Maricela Sanchez and husband Rafael, sons:  Ruben Lopez and wife Miriam, Cesar Lopez and wife Daniela, Chris Lopez and wife Gilda, Rafael Lopez and wife Juana, and Adrian Lopez and wife Michelle, brothers:  Priciliano Lopez, Adrian Lopez, and Miguel Lopez, sisters:  Mercedes Rodriguez, Gloria Macias, Elena Lopez, and Maria De Jesus Rios, 26 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 7 p.m., Monday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown.
