Pritt Gopalan

Pritt Gopalan left this world for everlasting glory on June 13, 2020. He was born in Chennai, India on January 23, 1976. He lived in India until he received his bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and came to America to do his master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. After which, he moved to America and proudly became a naturalize U.S. Citizen. Pritt Currently worked for Evonik. He enjoyed going hunting, MMA, and jujitsu. One time he even competed in the championship in Las Vegas and Pritt was proud to tell others about it. He enjoyed going to the mall with his daughter, Christine, and the two of them loved going to eat Asian food together. The family traveled to India once and went on many cruises some include the Bahamas, and West Caribbean. Pritt was a determined fellow. He was selfless and found much joy in helping others. He knew all his neighbors and was willing to lend a helping hand anytime they needed anything from him. He also volunteered on the first responders team at Faith Family Church of Baytown where him and his family attended. Pritt Was a devout Christian and loved his church and church family. He will be missed by all that knew him but his loving spirit will live on in out hearts.

Pritt was proceeded in death by his father, A. Gopalan. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Davis; daughter, Christine N. Davis; mother, Shanthi Gopalan; sister, Preethi Gopalan, brother-in-law, Venkat Mudhaliyar; niece, Tulsi as well as numerous friends and other family.

The family will welcome friends from 6 to 7 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 for a visitation. Immediately following at 7 PM will be the memorial service to celebrate Pritt’s life.
