Paulina Flores

Paulina Gonzalez Flores was an angel on earth. She was born on June 22nd 1958 in San Pedro de Gonzalez, Municipio de Doctor Arroyo, Nuevo Leon,  Mexico. She married the love of her life on October 2nd 1976. Together they raised 8 children who were the light of her life. Heaven must have needed another angel because the lord called her home on September 19, 2021.

Paulina was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy in life. Paulina loved playing loteria with her children and grandchildren, knitting, gardening,  and caring for her animals. She was the kind of mother that was also a best friend. Her children knew that they could tell her anything and she would always be there to listen and they often spent many hours just sitting and talking with her.  She loved feeding her family and always had a homemade meal ready for her many grandchildren who loved their abuela’s cooking above all others. She would always say, “come bien”!

Paulina also loved the Lord with all her heart and was strong in her faith and faithful in her prayers. Her family will miss her beyond measure and we are truly heartbroken by the loss but we find peace and comfort to know she is now celebrating in heaven. When she reached heaven we know she was filled with joy to see her mother Isidra Martinez and her father Ascencion Gonzalez as well as her mother-in-law Virginia Eufracio Flores and her father-in-law Nolberto Flores. Paulina leaves behind her husband of 45 years of marriage, Gabino Eufracio Flores, her eldest son Gabino Flores & his family, eldest daughter Ana Garcia & her family, daughter Brenda Ramirez & her family, son Eliud Flores & his family, daughter Erika Flores & her family, son Hernan Flores & his family, son Arnoldo Flores & family, and youngest daughter Sindi Flores & family as well as many other beloved family members.

Although she is no longer here on earth with us her memory will continue to live on our hearts. The word of God tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown.
