Patricia Ann Parsons Porter, 78, of Baytown, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020, in Baytown after a recent battle with lung cancer.
Patricia was born October 10, 1941 in Salisbury, Maryland, to parents; Franklin and Mary Ellen Thomas Parsons. She has been a resident of Baytown since 1979 and worked for Gulf Coast Hospital for many years as a Dietitian Supervisor. She went on to retire from Pilot Corporation where she worked as a diesel clerk and was lovingly referred to as “Miss Pat” from everyone that knew her. She was a former member of the Trinity Tabernacle. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed paint by numbers, reading, and watching old movies and murder mysteries and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her parents, husband: James Craig Porter, brothers: Tommy Parsons and Richard Parsons. She is survived by her daughters: Terri Avant and husband Lance, Paula Danley and husband Tommy, Pamela Marsh and husband Paul, and Dawn Pridgeon and fiancé Stan Morgan, brothers: Robert Parsons and Harlan Parsons, grandchildren: Paul Marsh and wife Megan, Justin Pridgeon, Dylan Marsh and wife Katie, Jordan Stanford and husband Jacob, Amber Avant, Jason Pridgeon and long time girlfriend Rayvin Nugent, Madison Danley, Aaron Avant, and Malorie Danley, great-grandchildren: Skylar Pridgeon, Otto Marsh, Ava Stanford, James Pridgeon, Violet Marsh, Ensley Pridgeon, and Jack Marsh, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
