Patricia Ann Kell, 81, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018, in Baytown, from complications of cancer.
Patricia was born April 17, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri, to parents; Sarah and Delmar Galbraith, and was a longtime resident of Baytown. Mrs. Kell was a former teacher/administrator of LaPorte ISD and retired after 23 years. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Baytown.
Pat was an accomplished quilter, interested in history, gardening, reading, and travel. She was a member of the Baytown Area Quilt Guild, East Texas Historical Association, and the Texas State Historical Association, as well as local heritage societies. She was particularly fond of her quilting bee and the Baytown Quilt Guild.
Mrs. Kell was preceded in death by her parents and daughter: Sharon Ann Kell. She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Eddie R. Kell, daughter: Linda and her husband Glen Corbett of British Columbia, son: Scott Kell and his wife Dhawn of Baytown, two grandchildren: Chad and his wife Sarah Kell and Julie Kell, one great-grandchild Margo Kell, brother-n-law: John Kell and wife Barbara of Nashville, Tennessee, former daughter-in-law: Joyce Kell, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, at the Faith Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018, with Dr. James Gill officiating at the Faith Presbyterian Church in Baytown, with reception to follow.
