Ossie Yvonne Brown

Ossie Muller Brown, 80, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, November 11, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Ossie was born December 8, 1937 in Baytown, to parents; Ernest B. and Pearl Sieber Muller. She graduated from Lee High School and went on to be a secretary for Lee College for more than 27 years. Ossie was member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church for over 60 years. She loved her church and her church family.  She will be remembered as an awesome wife, mother, and grandmother, while being strict and following the rules.  Ossie enjoyed spending time at the Nacogdoches cabin and painting pictures in her spare time.

Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents, son:  Stephen Paul Brown, granddaughter:  Madison Katy Brown, sisters:  Ernestine Treadway and Melba June Wier, and brother:  Joseph B. Muller.  She is survived by her husband of 62 years:  Davis L. Brown, sons:  Mike Brown and wife Karen and Scott Brown, daughter: Kathryn Brown, grandchildren:  Frank Garcia, Mike Garcia, Austin Brown, and Eric Brown, sister-in-law:  Martha Sue Dykes, special friend: Charles Seligman, numerous other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Jason Burnette and niece, Cheryl Kutan.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at the Cedar Bayou Baptist Church with services concluding thereafter.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
