Olivia "Mamo" Galvan

Olivia “Mamo” Galvan, 70, of Baytown, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, in Baytown.

Olivia was born July 18, 1950 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, to parents; Juan and Petra Quezada Gomez, a former resident of Laredo, and has resided in Baytown for the past 51 years.  She attended and volunteered at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and was a homemaker.  Olivia also enjoyed her shopping, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Galvan was preceded in death by her parents and brother:  Juan Francisco Gomez.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years:  Jesus Galvan, son:  Juan J. Galvan and wife Marissa, daughters:  Olivia Maldonado and husband Eduardo and Rosa Lopez and husband Jorge, sisters:  Paula Teran and husband Amador and Rosa Galvan and husband Alberto, grandchildren:  Brittney Galvan, J.J. Galvan, A. J. Galvan, Jonathan Maldonado, Briana Maldonado, Ashley Maldonado, Jorge Lopez, Jr., Alexander Lopez, Kris Lopez, and Adam Lopez, numerous other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary at 6 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 3, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with services concluding thereafter.

In lieu of fresh flower remembrances, the family requests that potted plants to be sent in their place.
