Neva Ann McNair Adcox, 81, of Baytown, went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home on March 19, 2018. She was born in Baytown to Odell M. McNair and Goldie Duhon McNair on December 11, 1936. Mrs. Adcox graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and was a member of the Assembly of God. She retired as the owner of Adcox Trucking Company. Her greatest joy in life was her ever growing family.
Mrs. Adcox is preceded in death by her husband, James Adcox; parents, Odell and Goldie McNair; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Gladys Adcox; step-son, Brent Adcox; and beloved dog, Trixie. She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Kilpatrick, Phyllis Hicks and Tambra Hicks; grandsons, Courtland Kilpatrick and wife, Morgan, Cody Kilpatrick and wife, Danielle; granddaughter, Geneva Kilpatrick; great granddaughters, Brooke Kilpatrick and Blythe Kilpatrick; great grandson, Courtland Kilpatrick II; sisters, Elwanda Marcontell and husband, J. D., Sondra Clamon (Charlie) and husband, Jerry, Terry Casey and husband, Billy; step daughters, Dee Adcox Butler and husband, Mike, Francis Sutton and husband, Jimmy; step-son, Jack Adcox and wife, Irene; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Jack Adcox, Billy Casey, Sr., Billy Casey, Jr., Chad Casey, Jerry Clamon, Kevin Hardin, Cody Kilpatrick, Courtland Kilpatrick, J. D. Marcontell and Dale Mata.
