Narisha "Lynn" Headley

Narisha “Lynn” Ali Headley, 70, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital.

Lynn was born December 4, 1948 in Trinidad, to parents; Rajab and Sirun Goberdhan Ali, and has resided in Baytown for the past 39 years.  She was a graduate of Marabella Girls School, had attended both San Jacinto and Lee colleges, and was a retired teacher from GCCISD’s Peter E. Hyland Center, where she loved working with students and their children.

Mrs. Headley was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years:  Knolly Headley, father:  Rajab Ali, brothers:  Surat “Roy” Ali and Sonny Ali, and sisters:  Christina Beulah Irish-Cabrera and Meena Saroop.  She is survived by her daughter:  Michelle Marshall, son:  Wayne Marshall, mother:  Sirunali Goberdhan Ali, sister:  Korisha Ali, grandson:  Weston Marshall, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2019, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.  A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery in Baytown. A repass will follow at Special Events Banquet Hall in 2232 N Alexander Dr, Baytown, TX 77520
