Miguel Izaguirre, Sr., 72, of Baytown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 29, 2019, in Baytown, Tx.
He was born June 16, 1947 in San Benito, Tx, and has been a lifelong resident of Baytown, was retired from the local chemical plants and was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Miguel never met a stranger, and was an amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He would give anyone the shirt off his back or the last $5 to his name to help someone he loved. He was a gentle, selfless, loving soul who everyone knew for his smile, his laugh, and his hugs. He will be so dearly missed by his children and grandchildren who he loved so much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon Izaguirre and Virtudes Juarez Izaguirre, and beloved sister Olga Sanchez. He is survived by his three children: Miguel Izaguirre, Jr., Patricia Izaguirre-Swift, and Kimberly Izaguirre-Barajas, brother: Guadalupe “Lupe” Izaguirre, sisters: Mickaela “Mickey” Rodriguez and Ramona “Moni” DeLaFuente, grandchildren: Mike’s children: Nicholas, Adrian, Patty’s children: Amber, Jonathan, Christian, Bella, and Kimberly’s children: Arielle, Noah, and Andy, his great-grandchildren: Sofia, Joseph, Jayden, Nicole, and Nirvana, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary service at 6 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Catholic Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 4, 2019, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Funeral procession to accompany Miguel to the church will begin at Crespo and Jirrels at 12pm Saturday
