Melissa Ann Tiner, 49, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, after fiercely battling Non-small cell lung cancer for four months.
Mrs. Tiner was born February 4, 1972 in Jacksonville, Florida, to parents; Linda Biddle and Curtis Price. She was a graduate of Vidor High School, attended Lee College, Ranger College and the University of Houston – Clear Lake, attaining both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Accounting. Melissa earned her 4th degree black belt in Taekwondo, achieving the status of Taekwondo Master. She enjoyed competing in Spartan Races, often running them back to back, as well as participating and competing in CrossFit.
Mrs. Tiner was preceded in death by her grandmother: Edith Dowdell, grandfather: James Gore and grandparents: Lillian and Curtis Price. She is survived by her devoted husband, Chris Tiner, mother and step-father: Linda and John Biddle, father and step-mother: Curtis and Teresa Price, father and mother-in-law: Ron and Carolyn Tiner, sister: Jennifer Pierce, brother: Jack Pierce, step-sister: Lyana Schexnayder, brother and sister-in-law: David and Melissa Targac, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of long-time friends.
A private family graveside service will be held, Friday, February 26, 2021 at Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel.
The Family welcomes donations to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center or The American Lung Association as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
