Melissa Marie Gonzalez

Melissa Marie Gonzalez, 29, of Dayton, Texas passed away Friday, June 29, 2018.

She was born February 24, 1989, in Baytown, to parents; Arnoldo Gonzalez and Reena Martinez. 

Melissa was at her happiest trying to make everyone around her laugh and spending time with her three children, fishing, baking cookies, making deserts, and spent countless hours playing video games with her sons.  She was baptized at Midway Baptist Church and recommitted her life to Christ at Gateway Community Church.

Miss Gonzalez was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maria D. Ybarra, of Dayton, Guadalupe Gonzalez, of Hargrill, Jerry Sue Stringer, of Dayton, and Joe Arthur Martinez, of San Antonio.  She is survived by her mother,  Reena J. Stringer and stepfather, Bobby J., of Dayton; father, Arnoldo Gonzalez and stepmother, Lynda, of Pasadena; her three beautiful children,  Ethan Wayne Mathis, Travis Paul Rose, Jr., and Braylin Faye Rose; sisters, Jessica M. Bradford and husband, Garrett, of Crosby, Sierra R. Gonzalez, of Pasadena; brothers, Michael D. Gonzalez, of Baytown, Aaron Gonzalez, of Magnolia; stepbrother, Kyle T. Stringer, of Dayton, stepsister;  Stephanie C. Williams, of Pasadena; grandfathers, Joe Ybarra, Alonzo Gonzalez, and Billy Stringer; three nieces, one nephew, and countless other family members and friends that loved her dearly.
