Melissa Clement Gill, age 48, a beloved daughter, mother and Gigi, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2021 at 9:39 am with her eldest daughter by her side holding her hand. Melissa was born October 14, 1972 in Baytown, Texas, to CJ Wick and Raymond Clement Jr. She attended St. Pius V Catholic School for nine years and participated in many sports including track and volleyball (MVP 8th grade year). She also managed the boys’ basketball team and was a cheerleader for three years (co-head cheerleader 8th grade year). She graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School and was a member of the Sterling Stars and served as Captain of Reserves. She attended San Jacinto Community College and was a member of the dance team. She was employed at Expeditors as a compliance officer. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Mont Belvieu.
Melissa found enjoyment in crafting. She loved making wooden signs and vinyl shirts for herself and family. She enjoyed relaxing on her couch, watching tv and searching for new series to watch. Dancing her entire life was a love of hers. She also enjoyed the sound of waves crashing on the beach or floating down a lazy river. She loved giving and helping when someone needed help. She always made sure her girls were taken care of. Her biggest joy was found in her grandchildren. She loved having them around and loved giving to them. She always made sure they had the best birthday/Christmas they could possibly have.
Melissa was proceeded in death by her grandparents Rosemary and Raymond Clement and CJ "Sonny" Ryan, sister Tina Tilton, cousin Amy Danielle Burnett and uncle Ronny Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years Reggie Gill, daughters Amber Morris, Tiffany Gill Lange and husband DJ and Riley Gill, father Raymond Clement Jr. and wife Linda, mother CJ Wick and husband Art, grandmother Hattie Ryan, brother Brian Wick and wife Kathryn, sisters Kera Jennings and husband Gary and Keli LaGrone, grandchildren Cameron Gill, Maya Morris, DVon Morris Jr., Maisyn Lange and Emmie Rose Lange, numerous aunt/uncles, cousins, nieces/nephews, other relatives, and friends.
