Mayme Lou Bond Morgan, 84, of Houston, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019, in Houston.
Mayme was born on June 15, 1935 in Houston, to parents; Denzel Jay Bond, Sr. and Mary Louise Deacy Bond. She was a lifelong Houston and Tiki Island resident and business owner with her late husband William L. H. “Bill” Morgan, Sr. Mayme was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed cooking, fishing, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 62 years: William L. H. “Bill” Morgan, Sr., sons: William L. H. “Bill” Morgan, Jr. and Jay Kale Morgan, sister: Joann Bond White, and brother: Denzel Jay Bond, Jr. She is survived by her daughter: Vickie Lynn Morgan Smith and husband Ronald, grandchildren: Lisa Renee Lee Vanarsdel and husband Clayton, William Louis “Will” Morgan and wife Lydia, and Ann Marie Morgan and husband Matthew Haygood, great-grandchildren: Bradley William Vanarsdel and Cody Leland Vanarsdel, brother-in-law: Gordon “Blizz” Morgan and wife Alice, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, valued employees, and friends.
Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.
