Matthew Colin Kenna, 27, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020, at his residence.
Matthew was born June 3, 1992 in Baytown, to parents; Kenneth and Colleen McMillan Kenna, and has been a lifelong resident of Baytown. He was a graduate of Ross S Sterling High School class of 2010, received his bachelor’s degree from Lee College, a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and catholic by faith. Matthew also enjoyed astrophotography, Marvel; especially Spiderman, traveling, hiking, visiting the Galveston pier, and longboarding.
Mr. Kenna was preceded in death by his grandparents: Thomas Kenna, Bessie McMillan, and Robert McMillan, and aunt: Carol Schoenberg. He is survived by his parents: Kenneth and Colleen McMillan Kenna, brother: Mark Kenna, nephew: Kamden Kenna, grandmother: Gladys Kenna, aunts and uncles: Delaine and Tim Driver, Joe and Robin Kenna, Glenn Kenna, and Darlene and Mickey Maraggia, numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends form 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m., Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
