Mary Edith “Edie” Jordan Harrison, 91, of Baytown, Texas passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, in Baytown. Edie was born July 26, 1930 in Washington County, Georgia, and has resided in Baytown for the past 40 years. She was a former secretary for Cryer Pest Control and Harrison Pest Control and a member of Second Baytown Church. Edie also enjoyed puzzles, word searches, game shows, and was a mother figure to many. She was known as Mammaw to many.
Edie was preceded in death by her parents: Carlos and Irene Jordan, daughter: Candace Melanie Harrison, and sister: Louise Lord. She is survived by her daughters: Valarie Lane (Dennis), Faith Harrison, and Eden Hollier (Trey), sons: Kenneth Harrison (JoAnn), Lynn Harrison (Gloria), Randy Harrison (Karen), Tony Harrison (Stassi), and Kent Harrison (Suzonne), grandchildren: Jeff Harrison, Kevin Harrison (Steffany), Mark Harrison (Tiffany), Stacie Harrison, Lyle Harrison, Jonathan Harrison, Teresa Patterson (Seth), Kandace Thompson (Travis), Jennifer Felker (Jay), Sam Harrison, Caleb Harrison, Krysta Connolly (Roger), Adam Harrison, Mikayla Harrison (Yenier), Brandon Harrison (Norma), Brittany Harrison, Taylor Harrison Taylor (Colton), and Jordan Hollier, 26 great-grandchildren with one on the way, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 27, 2021, at Second Baytown Church, 6227 N. Main, Baytown. A private interment will follow.
