Marlie Ruth Norris McGrew, 79, of Baytown, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, in Pasadena.

Marlie was born July 24, 1938, in Des Moines, Iowa, to parents; Fred and Hazel Harp Norris, a former resident of California, and has resided in Baytown since 1966.  She was a homemaker, worked in the customer service department of Kmart, and volunteered with her neighborhood watch program.  Marlie also enjoyed cooking, painting, crocheting, gardening, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Mrs. McGrew was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph McGrew, son:  Douglas McGrew, sister:  Anna Mae Norris, and brother:  Pete Norris.  She is survived by her sons:  Damon McGrew and companion Angeli Phelps, Dan McGrew and wife Jo, and Dennis McGrew and wife Lorie, sister:  Clara DeGreek, brother:  Richard Norris, grandchildren:  Kayla McGrew, Kandice McGrew, Meike Tan, Jennifer McCain, and Krystal Harrelson, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
