Marisa Galik

Marisa Rodriguez Galik, 60, of Pasadena, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at her residence.

Marisa was born October 9, 1959 in Baytown, to parents; Eulalio R. Rodriguez, mother:  Laura L. “Rene” Hamlin Rodriguez, and was a former resident of Baytown and Houston.  She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, attended nursing school, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown.  During her career, she was certified nurse’s aide, a bartender at her father’s bar, and sales clerk for Comcast. Marisa loved her nieces and nephews, always told everyone she loved them, and loved her sons and family without judgement. We will miss her fun-loving soul. Marisa also enjoyed music, dancing, and leaving her bright red lipstick on the cheeks of family and friends.

Mrs. Galik was preceded in death by her father:  Eulalio R. Rodriguez, mother:  Laura L. “Rene” Hamlin Rodriguez.  She is survived by her sons:  Dominic Gudknecht and wife Devon and Michael Gudknecht and wife Jonnie, siblings:  Chris Rodriguez, Margaret Autrey, Colin Rodriguez, Courtney Rodriguez, Mandy Theiss and husband Carl, and Donjha Cook, grandchildren:  Anthony and Adalee Gudknecht, dog: Tazer, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
