Marilyn Gail (Hill) Iler, 78, of Tarkington Prairie, Texas, passed away on September 17, 2017.  She was born in Alice, Texas, on March 28, 1939, to Troy Lee Hill and Beulah Doyle Hill and grew up in Baytown, Texas.  After graduating from Barbers Hill High School, she married the love of her life, Freddie Iler.  Marilyn loved spending time with her family.  She also enjoyed raising horses, painting and going antiquing with her family and friends, and was a member of Rainbow Girls in her youth.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, Troy Lee Hill and Beulah Doyle Hill; and her son, Kevin Lee Iler.  Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband of fifty-nine years, Freddie Wayne Iler; sisters, Carolyn Dudley and husband, David, and Darlene Walker; sons, Richard Wayne Iler and wife, Diana, and Kenneth Lynn Iler and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Christen Barragan and husband, Frank, Michael Iler and wife, Miri, Carly Reynolds, Brook Townsend and wife, Samantha, Samantha Oehler, Kelsey Iler and Grace Iler; great grandchildren, Javier Barragan, Gabriel Barragan, Julian Barragan, Jaden Iler, Romeo Iler, Makayla Iler, Tripp Iler, Mason Reynolds, Macoy Reynolds, Oliver Townsend, Ruby Townsend, Finn Townsend and Bryan Edward Iler.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017, in the Chapel of Crespo & Jirrels.  Burial will follow at Phelps Cemetery in Saratoga, Texas.

Honoring the family as pallbearers will be Frank Barragan, Michael Iler, Lynn McDonald, Troy McDonald, Brook Townsend and Chan Walker.
