Maria Luisa Vasquez

Maria Luisa Briseno Vasquez, 69, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at her residence.

Maria was born September 16, 1951 in Matamoros, Mexico, to parents; Rogelio and Juana Chavez Briseno, and has resided in Baytown for the past 40 years.  She was a housekeeper for Houston Methodist Hospital for over 16 years, where she met many friends with her kindness.  Maria also enjoyed sewing, gardening, and especially spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Vasquez was preceded in death by her parents, son:  Francisco Javier Lopez, and all her siblings.  She is survived by her husband of 25 years:  Natividad Jr Vasquez, children:  Alfredo Lopez and wife Gilda, Maria Leyva and husband Fernando, Blanca Lopez, and Deyanira Torres, daughter-in-law: Gloria Lopez, uncle:  Tio Lolo Chavez, 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2021, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2021, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown.
