Maria Esperanza Galeno Martinez, 67, was taken into the hands of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe as she passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 8, 2021 around her loved ones.
Esperanza was born on February 4, 1954 in Mexico City to loving parents Rosalio Galeno and Maria Martinez. She was survived by her four children: Jose Galeno Carreon, Griselda Galeno Carreon, Hope Ramawad Plata, and Gerardo Carreon Jr. Along with her children, would be her mother: Maria Martinez, and siblings: Cristina Galeno, Lourdes Galeno, Alejandra Galeno, Maria Galeno, Ana Galeno, Veronica Galeno, Mario Galeno, and Rodolfo Galeno. Lastly, she leaves behind ten grandchildren and one future great-grandchild. On the other side, she’s joining her beloved husband: Gerardo Carreon Plata, her son: Rosalio Alejandro Galeno Carreon, her father: Rosalio Galeno, and her siblings: Rosa Galeno and Martin Galeno.
Esperanza was a beloved mother, grandmother, sibling, and friend. Her memories will live on through her children and future generations to come. May she rest peacefully in the hands of the Virgin Mary of Guadalupe.
