Marga Rivera

Marga Rivera, age 52, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. 

She was born on February 20, 1967 in El Paso, Texas to Osvaldo and Elma Del Castillo. She is survived by her mother, and her husband Luis Rivera, her daughters Ana Henderson and wife Kristen, Myrah Urquidez, Callie Urquidez, and Jennifer Rivera. She is also survived by her grandchildren; her brothers Ivan Del Castillo, Juan Carlos, and their families. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and very dear friends. 

She dedicated her life to her career as a dental assistant and taking care of her family. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, watching the Astros, taking rides with her husband on their Harley, baking cakes, crocheting, rescuing animals, reading books, and collecting turtles. She will always be remembered for her loud, outgoing, and vibrant personality. A visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th at 5pm followed by a rosary at 7pm at Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 19th at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
