Luis Fernando Flores, Jr., 33, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020, in Bryan.
Luis was born February 17, 1987 in Channelview, to parents; Luis, Sr. and Maria Triny Flores, and a lifelong resident of the Baytown area. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School, received his associate degree from Lee College, was a truck driver by trade, was a member of West Baytown Civic Association. Luis also enjoyed watching the Cowboys and Rockets, politics, and the stock market. He will be remembered for his jokes and love of family.
Mr. Flores was preceded in death by his grandmother: Juana “Mami Janie” Flores, uncles: Ignacio “Nacho” Hernandez, Silvano Flores, and Manuel “Meño” Flores, cousin: Justo Diaz, and friend: Pedro “Gallo” Yepez. He is survived by his parents: Luis, Sr. and Maria Triny Flores, son: Luis “Tres” Flores, III, sister: Liliana Flores, brother: Leonel Flores, goddaughter: Eliana Castillo, numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 24, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
The family encourages family and friends to wear Cowboy’s colors (blue, silver, or white) to the services, for Luis’ favorite team.
