Louisa Tijerina Molina, 74, of Baytown, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at her residence, surrounded by family.
Louisa was born October 11, 1943 in O’Donnell, TX, to parents; Edwardo and Ebiria Marquez Tijerina, a former resident of Mathis, and has resided in Baytown since 1971. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidery, tending her roses, doves, and enjoyed puzzles.
Mrs. Molina was preceded in death by her parents: Edwardo and Ebiria Marquez Tijerina, son: Carlos Molina, sisters: Jesusa Cano, Petra Flores, Rita Montemayor, and Merice Espinoza, brothers: Edwardo Tijerina, Jr., Fidencio Tijerina, Erasmo Tijerina, and Ramiro Tijerina. She is survived by her husband: Miguel G. Molina, Jr., her children: Jose Molina and wife Rose, Roberto Molina and wife Valerie, Carlos Molina, Jessie Molina and wife Aracellie, Juanita White and husband Dennis, Evira Sauceda and husband Martin, Lupe Jaramillo and husband Ruben, Georgia Vasquez, RoseAnn Herrera, Elizabeth Durst and husband James, Michelle Ortiz and husband Jorge, sisters: Beatrice Castro, Rebecca Perez, Antonia Fernandez, and Anita Ortiz, brother: Erasmo Tijerina, 38 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., with rosary services at 7 p.m., Thursday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2018, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial following at Earthman Memory Garden Cemetery in Baytown. Services are under the direction of Crespo and Jirrels Funeral and Cremation Services in Baytown.
