Lorrie Franklin Myers, 61, of Baytown, made her journey home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in El Dorado, Arkansas, in the loving embrace of her husband and son.
Lorrie was born May 3, 1959 in Abilene, to parents; Randolph “Buddy” and Rosie Lee Franklin, a former resident of San Antonio and Houston. She has resided in Baytown for the past 35 years. She was a graduate of Abilene Christian High School, attended Lee College, and served as payroll, benefits and tax collector for GCCISD. Lorrie also enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, and time with her grandchildren. She maintained a positive outlook on life and loved and cared for all. She was a ray of sunshine and a blessing to everyone in her life.
Mrs. Myers was preceded in death by her son: Arlin Keith Gulley, father: Randolph “Buddy” Franklin, father-in-law: Eugene Myers Sr., sister: Roseanna Franklin Hemby, nephews: Troy Andrew Franklin, and Christopher Franklin, sisters-in-law: Patricia Franklin and Sharon Franklin, and brothers-in-law: John Cagle and Cary Craig.
She is survived by her husband: Eugene Myers Jr., mother: Rosie Lee Franklin, son: Dustin Gulley and wife Melissa, son: Storm Myers and wife Shay, mother-in-law: Betty Ann Myers, grandchildren: Aries Gulley, Jaylee Gulley, Jareth Farr, Jaycie Emery; siblings: Margaret Paradowski, Janet Tedford, Randy Franklin, Dale Franklin, Eddie Franklin, Kathleen Crisp Franklin, Walter Franklin, Wanda Love, Sandra Craig, Susan Corder, and Mary Cagle-Hall, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Lorrie is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
