Laurie Jo Burchfield

Laurie Jo Best Burchfield, 66, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in Baytown.

Laurie was born December 21, 1953, in Houston, to parents; Henry Best, Jr. and Mary Jo Cott, a former resident of Galena Park, and has resided in Baytown for the past five years.  She was a graduate of Lamar High School, received a bachelor’s degree of science from the University of Houston, and was a former restaurant manager.  Laurie also enjoyed puzzles, video games, watching TV and movies.

Mrs. Burchfield was preceded in death by her father:  Henry Best, Jr., mother:  Mary Jo Hostetter, and brother:  Henry Best, III.  She is survived by her daughters:  Christina Deavers and husband Matthew and Elizabeth Nornholm and husband Robert, sons:  Stephen Burchfield, Jr. and Christopher Burchfield and wife Mindy, grandchildren:  Sydney Deavers, Zachary Deavers, Robert J. Nornholm, III, and Jason Nornholm, numerous other relatives, and friends.
