Larry Lee Roberts

Larry Lee Roberts, 78, of Baytown, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019 in Baytown, Texas.  Larry was born on May 12, 1941 in Houston, Texas, to Jack H. and Katherine Powers Roberts.  He was a long time resident of the Baytown area.  He attended Milby High School in Houston, was a veteran of the US Army and a retired car salesman.  Larry was an avid gun collector, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He loved to read and discuss the Bible.  He was always ready for an intense discussion of the meaning of the scriptures.km

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Laverne Hoppe Roberts.  Children, Ray Roberts and wife, Sandy, Larry W. Roberts and wife Eileen, Shawn Carter and husband, Craig Reister, Theodore “Ted” Collins, Jr., Michelle Roberts, Sheri Collins, and Michael E. Roberts. Grandchildren: Damon Roberts, Jennie Roberts Mendelsohn, Shonda Cottrell Leidensdorf, Ryan Ray Roberts, Cody Carter, Aaron Roberts, Lacy Collins and 13 great grandchildren, along with his cherished fur baby, Daisy.  Brothers: Michael “Mike” W. Roberts and wife, Marilyn, Kenneth “Ken” E. Roberts and wife, Janice, and Richard “Rick” W. Roberts and wife, Diann, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Life Celebration service will be held at a later date.
