Kyle Hill “Cotton” Collins, 80, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at his residence.
Cotton was born September 12, 1940 in Meridian, to parents; Abraham Hill and Myrtle May Cook Collins, a former resident of Palestine, and has resided in Baytown for the past 42 years. He was a graduate of Blum High School, veteran of the US Army, former employee of Bell Helicopter, and a retired foreman for H.B. Zachary. Cotton also enjoyed growing roses, raising Boer goats, Chevy trucks, and his UT and Cowboys football.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Betty Hollingsworth Collins, stepsons: David Brock and wife Sharon and Steve Brock and wife Kathy, grandchildren: Josh Brock and wife Brandi, Jake Brock and wife Stephanie, Lyndsey Hartrick and husband Chris, Joe McCune and wife Teena, and Lauren McCune, great-grandchildren: Tyler Brock, Payton Brock, Hudson Hartrick, Spencer Hartrick, Gabrielle McCune, Christian McCune, Lundan McCune, Jordan McCune, and Jaxon McCune, brothers-in-law: Eddie Hollingsworth and J, O Hollingsworth, sister-in-law: Debra Frazier, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
