Kenneth Wayne “Ken” Frazier, 74, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the Houston Methodist San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown.
Ken was born December 8, 1943, in San Antonio, to parents; Bill Frazier and Evelyn Weyerts, a former resident of Missouri, and has resided in Baytown since 1974. He was a graduate of Bowie High School, a veteran of the US Air Force, a retired safety coordinator and electrician for Exxon, and member of Second Baptist Church of Baytown. In addition to his church membership, Ken served as a Chairman of the Capitol Committee and Deacon. He was also a member of Citizens on Patrol, the Baytown Retiree Club, the Tuesday Morning Breakfast Club, and Board of Directors for Crime Stoppers. He also enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, and helping others.
Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by his father: Bill Frazier, mother: Evelyn Weyerts Estes, stepfather: Monte Estes, daughter: Shannon Marie Frazier. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Kathy Wait Frazier, daughter: Tina Gatschet and husband Mike, sister: Barbara Kaldis and husband Costa, grandson: Jake Gatschet, one great-granddaughter, numerous other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 8, 2018, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown.
